Ali & Virgil were married at Heinz Chapel on a warm but beautiful afternoon and had their reception at The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel and Suites Pittsburgh. Ali had her hair and makeup perfected by Pretty Hair Salon , who did an unbelievable job on all of the girls. They came to the hotel do all of the work and made the getting ready portion so much smoother for Ali and all of the girls. We can’t recommend them enough! Ali was extremely calm and really seemed to be enjoying taking it all in while having a great time with the bridesmaids at The Doubletree. I met Virgil and his guys at Heinz Chapel, and they really could have been a group of comedians! Each was funnier than the next and they even though it was steamy in the back of the church, it didn’t phase them one bit. The ceremony was beautiful and Ali and Virgil looked perfect together. Virgil is such a calm, thoughtful person and he and Ali compliment each other perfectly. The entire bridal party practiced their reception entrances in their private room at the hotel, and it was one of the funniest times of the night! The reception just got better and the dancing was top notch. Props have to go out to Ali’s sister Lauren and Virgil’s brother Spencer, who each gave heartfelt and laugh out loud speeches. Spencer also gets the prize for dance floor humor, it wasn’t be hard to find him in the blog gallery! Congratulations Ali and Virgil, Elizabeth and I are so happy for you!
