Jessie and D.J. were married at the North Hills Community Baptist Church and their reception was held at The Pittsburgh Field Club. Their day started one floor apart at The Wyndham Grand in Downtown Pittsburgh, where the girls got ready one floor below where the guys were. From the bride and groom, to the bridal party and their parents, this was an extremely fun and lively group! The girls room was packed, and with the addition of a few adorable children in the mix, there were great moments happening throughout the entire morning! D.J. and the guys had it a little easier, and quieter, but managed to laugh just as much.
Their ceremony was extremely touching. Any time the groom cries (which D.J. did!) while his bride walks down the aisle, you know it will be filled with emotion! There were so many great moments, like when Jessie squeezed her fathers face after her walked her down the aisle and when Jessie and D.J. turned towards all of their guests, right in the middle of the ceremony to stop and wave to them all!
We then headed over to the Pittsburgh Field Club for their spectacular reception! D.J. Kelli Burns, like usual, had the party rocking the entire night. Jessie and D.J. were inseparable the entire night and their love for each other is so evident but one of my favorite moments (and photographs) was when Jessie stared down D.J. with the knife to cut the cake with! It was a classic moment and it was so Jessie! Everyone went crazy on the dance floor until the final song, when they were given a send off to sparklers outside of the Field Club. It was a truly special night and Elizabeth and I were so thrilled to be a part of it.
Congratulations again, Jessie and D.J., we are both so happy for you!!
